What a difference a week makes
What a difference a week makes! I am not going to apologise for last week’s somber blog, as I want all of you to know that it’s not all running and training that makes up a journey like this. There are mental and personal trials alongside training; which to be physically and mentally strong, they need to be acknowledged. Although this week is a lot more positive!
Managed to get away with my partner this week, taking some time to train on the South Downs and getting back into the mindset for Run to Refuge. It has been confirmed that on the final two days of Run to Refuge, there will be a running event, in Ashford, Kent, organised by Tribe Freedom Foundation, click on the link for more details https://www.facebook.com/events/717245435350240/
For those of you who are interested in crewing for me in the first two weeks of this fantastic journey, there has been a recent availability and we would really appreciate any time you can give to this worthy cause, while taking in the beauty of Greece at the end of April 2020. If you are interested please fill out the form on the website. Thank you to those who have signed up already as volunteers, this could not be done without you and I truly appreciate your generosity.
I would like to take this opportunity to give BIG shout out to Bill McCarthy who will start running very soon, in the Alps to Ocean Ultra. YOU GOT THIS BILL!
Finally, this Saturday I will be running in the TRIBE X Maverick Run Free, looking forward to getting back in contact with some people and doing some catching up.
