Today has clearly been a day when the time and distance past easily, since cannot really remember thinking about a lot today. Some days just seem like that, the time passes and I get to the end of the day and can't remember much of what I thought about. The highlight of today was having a drip in a small river about 1 km before the end of the day to cool down. After the heat of the last week it was total bliss and was the perfect end to a pretty straightforward day.

When I set off I had no idea how I'd feel. I am generally feeling good but a bit fatigued at times, my legs are feeling strong and are recovering well each night ready for the next morning. The one thing I seem to be struggling with is uphill power. As soon as I hit a hill there is very little power in my legs and so I have to walk the hills, which was always my plan, but this has been an interesting experience. I am also very curious about how my legs will react when I finish running at the end of August. I have so many questions in my head, will I want to go for a run? Will this be the end of running for me? Am I going to want another challenge? Like everything I do, I will try and be flexible and do what I feel like. I think that will be the important thing. To go with how I feel and not force myself to run if I do not feel like it, but also go for a run if I do or maybe a bike ride would be nice. In the past, after a big race I have felt quite low for a little while, I wonder if this will be the same. This project has been such a big piece of my life for so long, it'll be strange having finished and not having to think about it. I imagine, knowing me I will start looking for the next project, the next adventure. Anyone got any thoughts I'd love to hear other people's ideas.
