Back in business

Sorry for the silence.
I have had a period of reflection over the past few weeks. It is a combination of exhaustion and uncertainty meaning it has had a slight negative impact on my motivation. That said after some research and some soul searching, I have decided to go ahead with Run to Refuge but have chosen to run the length of the English and Welsh Coastal path, meaning that the distance I am running is now about 2,800 miles!
With that in mind, I am determined to keep strong and carry on in my plight to complete the Run to Refuge, all the while raising funds and awareness for human trafficking and modern-day slavery. My journey has been halted but my mission is still very clear!

I have spent the summer building resilience and maintaining fitness by taking part in virtual ultra-marathons, mainly the Great Virtual Race Across Tennessee, which came along just at the right time and got me back to training. I also completed the Virtual Lakeland 100 and the Ultra-x Month of Miles. I am currently part of a team competing in the Circumpolar Race Around the World. This is a 30,000-mile team race around the world via the poles.
Please let me know if you are interested in offering help as a volunteer crew member, a fellow runner or perhaps you would like to support or help us raise life-changing funds. Either way grateful for your input.

That’s it from me now. I look forward to getting back to my training and hope you continue to follow my journey. Thank you to you all for your continued support.
Thanks,
Tom
